Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio
Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st, 1977) is a popular American comic and singer. She became famous for her appearance as a host of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. In the years since, she has starred in ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career at Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice, but then switched to theater when she got involved in the improv comedy group on campus. She was the daughter of Nena of la Reguera, was a Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and TV personality. Reguera began taking ballet classes after which she began to study performance arts at Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
